i’m gonna fill my town with only flowers and see if that fixes anything; in previous versions if you had enough flowers per acre it would offset the tree requirement.

In general, I am a shy person which is why I don’t really wander much further than wherever it is I happen to be writing. This is the case on not just Tumblr, but forums and well, most places in general. I have trouble starting conversations, I’m too nervous to send people asks (without being anonymous), and I tend to keep to myself….unless you get me started on talking about something and then I tend to go on and on so I guess I should apologize in advance?

Anyway, I’ve never been a huge fan of version exclusives—especially considering this caused an item I adored to no longer be in the US versions. I like learning about other cultures and I think it’d be fun—I mean, they translate the events if you go to someone’s game anyway in the first place. So the fact that they just feel it’s better this way has always made me a bit frustrated.

New Leaf, of course, has a large amount of exclusives—both item-wise (even in shared holidays) and holidays themselves. In fact, to get all the items, you would need:

1. Someone with the North American game in English.

2. Someone with the North American game in French OR the Europe game in French.

3. Someone with the North American game in Spanish OR the Europe game in Spanish.

4. Someone with the Europe game in English.

5. Someone with the Europe game in German.

6. Someone with the Korean game.

7. Someone with the Japanese game.

And maybe it’s just me, but I really hate bothering people? I’d feel so awkward going up to someone and being all “Hi! I have the US game in English (because, nobody will have that >____>) and I see you have the game in something that isn’t that so maybe we can exchange friend codes or something? possibly? …please?”

Heck, I’d like the courage to just ask like…someone with all the 7-11 DLC if I can just pick it up to catalog (along with the other exclusive DLC stuff that has been missed) :( But i’m too shy for that too.

Honestly, I just wish I could magically have one of each version myself (I don’t know if the language is determined by system or game though for Europe…) and help other people out ._. then I wouldn’t have to worry about feeling like an idiot.

…of course, that doesn’t help my 7-11/Japanese exclusive DLC problem… *sighs* why must things be so complicated

I wouldn’t mind sharing any European exclusives, if there are any. This is a pretty big, diverse fandom. I’m sure there’s somebody out there ready to trade any DLCs. ~~maybe we could set up a directory?~~

I wouldn’t mind helping w/ Japanese and America exclusive items, but I can’t get the 7-11 items as I won’t be travelling to any 7-11. Oh, I wish!
